Sales Director - M&T Hotel Management

Due to an internal promotion M&T Hotel Management are now recruiting for an experienced Sales Director to join the senior team in the managed estate. Applicants must have regional or multi property experience within a similar role.

The opportunity to work in fast paced diverse environment with exposure to global brands and independent hotels means that you need to be able to understand how to work clients and teams alike with the over arching objective being on driving top line performance at hotel level. This includes but is not limited too

• Leading the evolution, running and continuous improvement of M&T's sales disciplines and resulting culture.
• To take the Sales function for M&T's Managed hotels to the next stage - that of being the very best in the business.
• Drive M&Ts core sales strategies across all Managed hotels, to continually improve revenue performance and increase market share.
• Own and drive the hotels' Corporate Business (local, national and global) performance.
• Identify, and proactively pursue new Sales initiatives, targeted activity and negotiated contracts, resulting in top & bottom line maximisation for all Managed hotels.
• Represent the top line performance of all M&T Managed hotels to key stakeholders/owners/ banks.
• Support the Commercial Director, and other M&T senior stakeholders in the perpetual drive for new business for the company, in line with targeted goals.


This position involves travelling between our corporate office in Elstree, Hertfordshire and our managed hotels situated throughout the UK with some home working. Therefore, significant travel is to be expected including overnight stays where needed. Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are comfortable with the distances involved, are able to drive and have the use of a suitable vehicle (paid mileage and car allowance is included in the salary package).
