Operations Manager

The newly refurbished and rebranded DoubleTree by Hilton London Elstree has an exciting vacancy for an Operations Manager.

A 135 bedroom property with meeting & events space for up to 400 delegates, restaurant, bar and leisure facilities.

We are seeking a dynamic, outgoing and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about hospitality and dedicated to achieve standards of service excellence throughout all departments of the hotel. Strong Brand experience is essential.

Responsibilities of a Operations Manager include motivating the hotel team; communicating effectively with all departments; leading the operation; ensuring all standards are met with keen attention to detail; optimising every sale in all areas of the hotel and managing costs and rotas in line with budgets. Reporting line will be directly to the General Manager and deputising in his (or her) absence. This role will, of course, include duty management responsibilities. This is definitely not a 9 to 5, Monday to Friday role so working in the evening, at weekends and on public holidays is expected.

The successful Operations Manager will have operational and leadership experience from a quality hospitality environment (high quality 3* standard and above), have excellent communication and organisational skills and have the personality to lead, motivate and delegate effectively. We are looking for a hands candidate with an excellent focus on attention to detail and a passion for staff training and development.
