Human Resouces Co-ordinator - Part Time

M&T Hotel Management are now recruiting on behalf of the hotel owners for an on-property Human Resources Manager for a property close to oRoyal Wootton Bassett that we will be managing from January 2019 onwards. The property is a very busy 50 bedroom, 3 star standard, hotel with exciting plans for the future. Currently, the exact property details cannot be disclosed but will be discussed at interview.

This role is part time and a flexible approach to hours worked is a must as the Human Resources Co-ordinator will sometimes be required to work evenings and at the weekend.

We are looking for a multi-skilled HR Generalist and duties will include assisting with change management, recruiting and training a first class workforce, HR administration for the hotel; maintaining the labour management system; assisting with employee relations activities; coordinating and delivery of both statutory and job skills training; supporting managers on Team Member related issues; assisting with Team Member engagement activities and any other human resources related tasks as decided by the General Manager.

Applicants must have previous experience in Human Resources in a quality hotel (or very similar) environment, be personable and approachable, have an organised and methodical approach to their work, be IT literate with a good knowledge of word, excel, outlook and power point; have experience of inspiring, training and coaching others and be able to interact at all levels. Knowledge of the local area is desirable. A HR related qualification is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will report directly to the hotel General Manager and indirectly to the Head of Human Resources.
