Groups, Conference & Events Revenue Manager

A rare but exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, motivated and charismatic Groups, Conference and Events Revenue Manager to join our successful Senior Management Team here at the Hilton Bournemouth. Located in the heart of Bournemouth, our stylish hotel, at the upper end of the four star category, is the South Coast’s top choice for business and leisure travellers, conference attendees and families.

The Groups, Conference & Events Revenue Manager will be responsible for the following:
• To achieve budgeted revenues in Groups, Conference and Banqueting in accordance with the budget and marketing plan;
• To handle all stages of Group and Event enquiries from the initial call to proposing and contracting to achieve high levels of conversion;
• To ensure effective communication with other hotel departments to enable the smooth operation of in-house groups and functions.

You will be responsible for overseeing the work of your two direct reports, working to achieve pre-established targets and objectives, and for increasing and expanding Groups, Conferences and Events revenue.

• Proven previous experience in similar role

• Effective management skills
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Commercial and industry knowledge (preferably from a branded full service hotel background)
