OUR STORY
University Arms Cambridge re-opened last summer after a 3-year redevelopment at the hands of renowned Architect John Simpson and Interior Designer Martin Brudnizki.

The newly re-launched hotel consists of 192 design-led bedrooms, complemented by Parker’s Tavern, a high-end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar by award winning local chef-restaurateur Tristan Welch, along with the adjoining library, bar and ballroom. Set in the heart of Cambridge, University Arms is already becoming the ‘go to’ destination, alluring visitors with the promise of a sense of modern luxury, adorned with moments of enchanting discovery.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This role sits within the Sales department and supports the Director and Manager by handling incoming queries, sending proposals, contracts and conducting site inspections where required. The Executive will ensure all events run smoothly by using the relevant systems to generate function sheets, liaising with the operational departments to ensure understanding before heading the event over to be run by the operations team. Following a successful event, the Executive will ensure client satisfaction, and that the billing procedure has been conducted correctly.

The is an exciting and varied role but requires the ability to be able to juggle a number of projects whilst paying great attention to detail.

Previous experience in events essential.
Knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering preferred.
Outgoing personality and the ability to work alone and as part of a lively and extremely busy tea.
