Conference and Banqueting Assistant

DoubleTree by Hilton, Cheltenham, is one of the finest regency hotels in Cheltenham, nestled in glorious grounds in the heart of the Cotswolds and proudly flying the Double Tree by Hilton Flag.

We are looking for a Conference & Events Assistant who is well presented, self-motivated, reliable and a good team player.

THE ROLE
As a Conference & Events Assistant, you will be involved in set up, service and breakdown of conference and banqueting rooms as directed. Including preparing coffee breaks and stations with appropriate supplies, laying tables and buffets for service, ensuring rooms are properly cleared and monitoring cleanliness of the service areas.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, sometimes working alone but mainly within a team environment. Good communication skills and an outgoing personality are essential as you will be liaising with Conference Organisers for meetings from 2 to 200 delegates.

Hours will vary depending on the business and shifts will involve late nights, early mornings and weekend work.
