M&T Hotel Management are now recruiting for a Cluster Revenue Manager who will take responsibility of the revenue function across a cluster/ small group of properties within our Managed estate. Previous applicants need not reapply.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue and indirectly to the Commercial Director this is an exciting new role with the opportunity to join our Team as the company expands and acquires new contracts.

The role will be remote working (mainly home based) with one visit to each hotel each month which depending on the home base of the job holder and the location of the hotels within their area of responsibility may involve overnight stays, early starts and late finishes.

M&T is a leading hotel management company specialising in the management of branded and independent hotels and focused on optimising profits for hotel owners. We manage hotels across numerous brands, including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Best Western, as well as a variety of fine independent hotels

General scope and purpose of the role

* Remote working with one visit to each of your hotels per month and attendance at Company meetings

* Develop, lead and communicate hotels commercial strategy with the General Managers, Head of Revenue and Commercial Director.

* Identify and pursue all areas of revenue maximisation for all revenue streams

* Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the commercial analysis and evaluations of decisions within all revenue streams.

* Ensure seamless, timeline reporting of information that supports and enhances the hotels financial reporting such as forecasting, budgeting and market trends.

* Hold weekly Revenue Meetings with each Hotel and the commercial team on property via WebEx and visit each Hotel once a month to conduct monthly Commercial Meetings.

* Attend meetings in various locations as required

Responsibilities

* Relentlessly identify areas of opportunities and risks within Revenue that add value to each hotels' performance.

* Oversee performance and efficiency, ensuring every single revenue line is being optimised.

* Develop and refine robust measurement tools and mechanisms, enabling clear performance benchmarking for all revenue streams.

* To take ownership & accountability for all top line (every revenue line) forecasting, budgeting and reporting.

* With General Managers and Sales Managers work up annual Sales & Marketing Plans and be responsible for driving key activities to deliver it through the wider commercial team.

* Give other commercial managers guidance and market insight for rate negotiations for all segments.

* Daily checks of revenue distribution for hotels positioning, price parity, information accuracy and competition positioning.

* Review and management of the relationship with the representation company and brand (such as IHG or Best Western)

* Carry out feasibility studies and ad-hoc commercial analysis when required.

* Keep key stakeholders informed of the hotels commercial performance and commercial activity.

Qualifications, Skill and Experience

* Min 2 years in a leadership role within Hotel Revenue Management

* Experience in all of the above areas.

* Intermediate/advanced MS Excel knowledge

* Excellent knowledge of all other MS Office Applications

* Advance knowledge of hotels distribution systems and in-house systems (PMS)

* Precise analytical skills

* Excellent presentation skills

* Evidence of coaching and team development a definite advantage
