Recruiting now, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and coffee-loving Barista to be part of the team at the exquisite Parker’s Tavern and to help continue to shape it as the ‘go to’ place in Cambridge.

Parker’s Tavern is a high end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar run by award winning local chef- restaurateur Tristan Welch, within the iconic University Arms hotel.

Still in its first year, the hotel has the wonderful accolade of being included on Condé Nast’s ‘The Hot List 2019 : The World’s Best New Hotels’, as well as recently winning ttg luxury Travel Awards’ ‘Best New Luxury Hotel of the Year’, and being voted Sunday Times ‘City Hotel of the Year’.

The Martin Brudnizki designed restaurant delivers a warm, inviting and delicious taste of Cambridge with a locally-focused menu and many unique quirks and a constant dedication to an immaculate and personal service for our guests.

The bar is an intrinsic part of the Parker’s Tavern experience with a stunning décor, fun & inventive cocktail menu and well thought out wine list. The atmosphere is laid-back sophistication during the day, with a vibrant buzz in the evenings.

We are looking for an experienced, well-presented and attentive Barista.

The bar is busy all day and so whilst our Bar Tenders are trained to serve everything from coffee to cocktails, we need a dedicated Barista to support our morning offering, serving both our breakfast guests in the restaurant as well as those who visit for a coffee in the relaxed environment of the bar or library.

Our Barista is our coffee connoisseur, not only knowledgeable but adept and efficient to ensure our guests have the smoothest start to their day. Mornings can be very busy but our desire to provide an unrivalled guest experience requires you to deliver with the quality and speed that goes hand in hand with an understanding of this high-end service.

You will need to be available to work mornings. Additional flexibility in your availability may be advantageous.
