Recruiting now, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and exceptionally personable Restaurant Manager to be part of the recently opened Parker’s Tavern and to help continue to shape it as the ‘go to’ place in Cambridge.


Parker’s Tavern is a high end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar run by award winning local chef- restaurateur Tristan Welch, within the iconic University Arms in the centre of Cambridge.

The hotel itself was recently voted Sunday Times City Hotel of the Year and one of Conde Nast’s Hottest Openings of 2018.

Parkers Tavern is a stand-alone establishment which will also cater for our hotel guests, so we are buzzing from morning to night.

The Martin Brudnizki designed restaurant will delivers a warm, inviting and delicious taste of Cambridge with an ever-changing menu and many unique quirks. What does not change is our dedication to an immaculate and personal service for our guests.

The restaurant is complemented by a stunning bar offering inventive cocktails and a fantastic wine list, and a beautiful ballroom for private events.


You are likely to be a skilled restaurant manager with experience gained in a high-quality restaurant/ hotel environment.

You will have a passion for fresh, locally sourced food and first-class levels of service. You will enjoy getting the best out of your well-trained floor team.

You will have the creative flair to help the Chef Director and Restaurant GM create a unique dining experience but also the practical skills to design and implement the procedures needed to maintain the consistent high standards.

You will be an articulate, well presented and confident leader who most of all is excited about the opportunity to shape something really special in an amazing venue.
