An exciting new role in Michels and Taylor’s new hotel finance office, based in Cambridge. You will be responsible for general accounting duties, including, but not restricted to, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Bank reconciliation, weekly forecasting and Month end preparation. Reporting to the Regional Accountant, you’ll complete the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensure supplier payments, reconciliation of supplier accounts, daily banking reconciliation. You will also liaise with Head Of Departments to ensure all revenue is accurately recorded, invoices issued, and payments received in a timely manner.

Accounts Assistants must have excellent communication skills, is able to meet deadlines, prioritise work and able to self-motivate with the ability to multi-task and manage one’s own work load.

A successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a hospitality finance office, be AAT qualified or similar and experienced using Excel.
